Fayard and Harold Nicholas, known to the world as the Nicholas Brothers, were a tap-dancing duo whose unmatched level of artistry and gravity-defying combinations of flips and splits in tuxedos made them one of the greatest tap dance acts of all time. They became stars of the jazz circuit during the heyday of the Harlem Renaissance and ‪the Cotton Club‬, and their iconic performance with ‪Cab Calloway‬ and his orchestra, featured in the movie 'Stormy Weather' is still widely considered as the greatest dance routine ever captured on film.

In a career that spanned over seven decades, the Nicholas Brothers performed in over 55 films, and headlined performances on Broadway, television, and extensive tours throughout Latin America, Africa, and Europe. The Nicholas Brothers have also received the Kennedy Center Honors, an honorary doctorate degree from Harvard University and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The cartoon designed by Black Beverly Hills in collaboration with Nicholas Dance Studio is a scene from the film ‪Sun Valley Serenade‬ (‪1941‬). Their dance 'Chattanooga Choo Choo' also features Dorothy Dandridge. #BlackBeverlyHills
